Vertiflex Implant

Overview

The Vertiflex procedure is a cutting edge FDA approved procedure to treat lumbar spinal stenosis.  Patients with spinal stenosis will complain of significant buttock and leg pain with significant walking and standing activities. Additional symptoms may include leg numbness, weakness, and decreased physical endurance. Sitting or bending forward usually improves the symptoms. Many patients will use a cane, walker, or shopping cart to improve their ability to walk.  The Vertiflex implant will create space for the nerves to travel through the spinal canal without producing leg symptoms.  This is one of the most innovative and life changing procedures in interventional pain management today.
